Four Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

When finished, the 77-storey high-rise building will have a total height of 324.50 m.
Located right next to the striking Petronas Towers is another architectural highlight in Kuala Lumpur: the Four Seasons Centre.
The RCS Climbing Protection Panel used provided a continuous, circumferential enclosure of the upper storeys under construction. An important requirement of the construction work, which demanded a high level of safety for the construction team, was thus fulfilled.
Limited crane capacity is very often the limiting factor in constructing high-rise buildings. Through the use of the mobile self-climbing devices, with which the RCS Climbing Protection Panel was lifted to the next floor without the use of a crane, meant the required crane time at the Four Seasons Hotel could be minimized.
In Kuala Lumpur, the flexible PERI UP scaffolding system made a convincing case not only through its simple assembly but also, in particular, by the optimum adaptation possibilities available in order to accommodate the range of geometries and loads. Among other things, the numerous reinforcing steel ribs could easily be modified.
